NCWIT

Full Site Redesign and Development

Project Details

The National Center for Women and Information Technology (NCWIT) is the farthest-reaching network of change leaders focused on advancing innovation by correcting underrepresentation in computing.

NCWIT needed a site that was easy to edit and wanted a high level of control over the layout and design. I chose WordPress with Elementor to give them the flexibility they needed. This client also required the ability to sort and display various kinds of data in various contexts. I built custom WordPress blocks to meet these goals. In addition, we integrated WooCommerce and customized it to fit their unique need to send partners printed resources without charge.

I did not do this project in isolation. I worked with the very talented team at Culture Foundry to deliver this beautiful website. Most of my work implemented the UI designer’s vision, filling in the gaps and front-end development on the WordPress Platform.
